In a recent press release, Microsoft announced the introduction of the 129th language, Lower Sorbian, for its Lower Sorbian Translator app. It is an endangered language spoken by fewer than 7,000 people worldwide. Sorbian, also known as Wende, is a Slavic languages West Slavic languages language of the Sorbian minority in southeastern Germany. The language is divided into Upper Sorbian and Lower Sorbian, with lower Sorbian mainly located near Brandenburg，Land, Germany. It is an critically endangered language spoken by fewer than 7,000 people. Microsoft announced Translator Microsoft Azure Cognitive Service to further protect the language and support Lower Sorbian translation of documents, web pages, and other scenarios.
